Present
I am currently a software developer at Phonoclick since fall 2008. We are actively developing a whole lot of software, mainly in voice interaction.
Past
Previously I was employed as a research/teaching assistant and got my M.S. at the Computer Graphics Laboratory of Sabanci University (Istanbul/Turkey) between 2005 and 2007. There I developed V-Stich, a TUBITAK sponsored project involving the reconstruction of archeological finds in a virtual environment and CH Toolbox, a software system for virtual spatial measurement tools for digitized cultural heritage artifacts. My thesis advisor was Dr. Selim Balcisoy.
Before that I worked at Communications and Spectrum Management Research Center of Bilkent University (Ankara/Turkey), after I received a B.S. in computer science and engineering from Bilkent University in 2003. I participated in the update and maintenance of the National Frequency Managament System, as well as developing a number of in-house tools.
I am also a proud graduate of Robert College (Istanbul), a top high school in Turkey, which I enrolled after placing 9th in the national high school entrance exam in 1992.
